DATE: September 3, 2020 (Thursday) -- Yours truly (me) is systematically going through the New Testament, more specifically the four gospel of our LORD and SAVIOUR JESUS CHRIST. And I am using Studylight Bible study tool to help me harmonize the gospels (this way, I can go through the four books in an orderly fashion. Anyway, I read up to the temptations of the LORD in the wilderness by the evil one, Satan. And having gone through these temptations, the LORD JESUS was ministered to by the holy angels. The LORD JESUS also went through the baptism by John the Baptist at the Jordan river. Now I am up to the part where the LORD JESUS was about to start HIS ministry. HE went to Galilee first, Luke 4:14. The LORD JESUS' temptations was necessary as a qualification of being the second Adam - 1 Corinthians 15:21-22. The LORD JESUS is our representative (unto life), the first Adam is our representative who fell, "For as in Adam alll die, even so CHRIST shall all be made alive." (1 Corinthins 11:22).

DATE: September 14, 2020 (Monday) -- To the LORD GOD be all the glory in CHRIST JESUS. By the blessed LORD GOD's grace in the LORD JESUS, I got to read through the first ministry of the LORD JESUS (John 1:35-42). From out of obscurity for thirty years, working as a carpenter with his earthly father, Joseph, the LORD JESUS went to Jordan from Nazareth of Galilee (Matthew 3:13-ff, Mark 1:9-11, Luke 3:23).

DATE: September 22, 2020 (Tuesday) -- To the LORD GOD be all the glory, honour, thanksgiving, and praise in CHRIST JESUS. Yours truly was watching Countryside Bible Church Sunday worship service, with Dr. Tom Pennington (who by the way is 60 years old), and has been the pastor for 17 years now at the same church. Tom was my hall monitor when I was attending BJU (Bob Jones Universty) at my freshman year. Then when he graduated, he went to Los Angeles. Then after a year or so, he joined Dr. John MacArthur's church and ministered to the church as an associate pastor for 16-17 years, until he went to Texas to pastor the present church - Countryside Bible Church. And it has been 17 years since (2003 - present).

DATE: October 4, 2020 (Sunday) -- To the LORD GOD be all the glory in all things - in CHRIST JESUS. And yours truly is back again after a long hiatus. So, I am retracing my steps back to John 2 where the LORD and SAVIOUR JESUS CHRIST, GOD the SON, dwelling among us, has provided for HIS creation, HIS creatures at the wedding in Cana of Galilee. The LORD JESUS, the ever living ONE, was interacting with HIS creation (us) - having gone through human childhood (as GOD/man). The GOD/man with all the power of the universe and all of eternity, sovereign king, walking humbly as a man. HE could have just transported HIMSELF from place to place since HE has the power over all of creation; but HE purposefully lived as a human - obedient to the HOLY SPIRIT of GOD the FATHER - all the time.

"And HE saith unto them, Draw out NOW..." (John 2:8). At the behest of the SAVIOUR and LORD, we must obey. HE is in complete control of everything, even of time - in the exact time of fermentation, when the wine is in it's perfect state, (and elements - molecules). Then later, the LORD JESUS walked/traveled with his earthly family all the way to Capernaum (John 2:12). They must have walked all the way there, and GOD the SON was walking with them. And as I read before, there must have been way stations along the road where people stayed as they traveled long distances. The LORD GOD JESUS, must have gotten tired too; thirsty, and hungry.

"This beginning of miracles did JESUS in Cana of Galilee, and manifested forth HIS glory; and HIS disciples believed on HIM." (John 2:11). The blessed LORD JESUS, GOD the SON, must have done other miracles there at Cana. And these mircales showed the people (us) GOD the SON's glory - the sovereign majesty and power of GOD the SON. God with us. Even today, at this very moment, the LORD GOD is with us - thourgh GOD the HOLY SPIRIT.

DATE: October 18, 2020 (Sunday) -- To GOD be all the glory (in CHRIST JESUS). The blessed LORD GOD has givne me another day of grace (in the LORD JESUS). And I am still at John 2-3. When the LORD JESUS, GOD (the SON), travelled HIS hometown, Galilee. The LORD JESUS went to Cana from Nazareth to attend the wedding. "And the third day there was a marriage in Cana of Galilee; and the mother of JESUS was there: and both JESUS was called, and HIS disciples, to the marriage." (John 2:1-2).

DATE: October 24, 2020 (Saturday) -- To GOD be all the glory in all things in CHRIST JESUS. It's Saturday, and tomorrow is the LORD's day. And I am not sure of Lisa and Stephen for the BIble studies. But I am trusting the LORD GOD for whatever happens tomorrow - including if I will still be alive. But yours truly has been reading the gospels, but am getting tardy at it - and I know I have to maintain my regular study of the LORD's HOLY WORD. I am now am reading back and forth John chapters 1-3. The LORD JESUS, GOD the SON, is now at Jerusalem. HE went there for the Passover feast - John 2:13-ff.

DATE: October 25, 2020 (Sunday) -- To GOD be all the glory in all things in CHRIST JESUS. Just thought of adding my personal Bible study video here, as part of the study.

The good LORD GOD giving me grace once again (in CHRIST JESUS) to be faithful to HIM as HE is ever faithful to me. I am trying to maintain my study of HIS HOLY WORD regularly - as I see my contemporaries, pastor Tom Pennington, pastor Tony Reyes, and pastor Mark Minnick do. And this additional item, the video, is a little help in egging me on. Every Wednesday and Sundays.

DATE: November 8, 2020 (Sunday) -- To the LORD GOD be all the glory in all things in CHRIST JESUS. By the good LORD GOD's grace in CHRIST JESUS, this guy (me) has gotten to the part where the LORD JESUS, GOD the SON, has started HIS ministry, and was confronted by one of the religious leaders, a Pharisee named Nicodemus. And the LORD JESUS gave him a direct answer about the kingdom of GOD. Having started the conversation by Nicodemus, the LORD JESUS "went directly for the jugular", as the saying goes. The LORD JESUS directly revealed to Nicodemus the secret to GOD's kingdom - new life. "JESUS answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of GOD." (John 3:3). And Nicodemus can't seem to "see" the picture.

DATE: November 14, 2020 (Saturday) -- To GOD be all the glory in all things in CHRIST JESUS. NOTE: Yours truly is changing the format of this web site, "My Personal Bible Study". Starting today, the daily Bible devotional/study will be posting the daily Facebook daily study along with this web page. Yours truly will post the Bible study there first, then will follow up here for the rest of the day's study.

John 3 -- verse 7, "Marvel not that I said unto you, Ye must be born again." tells us of the LORD JESUS' direct face-to-face (and the LORD JESUS must have been staring Nicodemus straight in the face) reply (a reveal) of Nicodemus need for re-generation. Do not wonder/be surprised when I (the LORD JESUS) tell you that you must be reborn!

DATE: November 15, 2020 (Sunday) -- To GOD be all the glory in al things in CHRIST JESUS. And it's still my study at John 3 on Nicodemus. With the study on my SAVIOUR (the LORD JESUS) biography - life history (in the gospels).

So here in John 3:9, Nicodemus asked the LORD JESUS the third question - "Nicodemus answered and said unto him, How can these things be?" (John 3:9). The blessed SAVIOUR (the LORD JESUS) keep telling Nicodemus that he must have re-birth, John 3:3, and John 3:7. And Nicodemus kept asking the LORD JESUS just what about this - how can these things be. In other words, Nicodemus just can not get it. As if to say, there is a mental and spiritual block in Nicodemus' mind's eye.

And so, we read that the LORD JESUS rebuked Nicodemus for not knowing of these things. Even the prophets (Old Testament) spoke of these things - Ezekiel 11:19, "And I will give them one heart, and I will put a new spirit within you; and will take the stony heart out of their flesh, and will give them a heart of flesh." But we are slow of understanding and evil of heart.

DATE: November 21, 2020 (Saturday) -- To GOD be all the glory in CHRIST JESUS. The harmony of the gospels: and yours truly is given by the blessed LORD GOD in CHRIST JESUS another day of grace. John 3 - And as the LORD JESUS continues to tell Nicodemus of HIS divine nature, "And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but HE that came down from heaven, even the SON of MAN which is in heaven." (John 3:13). The LORD/SAVIOUR JESUS was refering to HIMSELF when he said the SON of MAN. These things that the LORD JESUS was revealing to Nicodemus must all be new to him (but all these things were prophesied in the Old Testament). The thing is, how can an unregenerate man understand all these heaven things? And Nicodemus considers the LORD/GOD JESUS as simply a "Rabbi" (John 3:2).

DATE: November 22, 2020 (Sunday) -- To GOD be all the glory in all things in CHRIST JESUS. First, I want to thank the blessed LORD GOD for this one more day of HIS infinite grace in CHRIST JESUS, to have the freedom, the time, the resources to read and study HIS HOLY WORD. And yours truly is reading through the SAVIOUR biography (life history). The SON of GOD here is perfectly obeying the FATHER's good and holy will, in telling Nicodemus the coming event in the SAVIOUR life - that HE will be lifted up (John 3:14). Here the SAVIOUR is giving the Pharisee the greatest of all truths, that the SERVANT/SAVIOUR will be exalted/lifted up, and those who look to HIM, those who put their trust in HIM will not perish, but have eternal life.

The LORD JESUS could have told someone else about this precious truth, but Nicodemus was chosen by the LORD GOD to receive this heavenly message - maybe to the end that he (Nicodemus) would share this to his peers (the other religious leaders). For the sake of those in that religious group who are earnestly seeking the truth/even eternal life. The LORD JESUS came here, not to rule but to rescue (out of HIS great love for HIS creation) - John 3:16-17.

DATE: December 1, 2020 (Tuesday) -- To GOD be all the glory in CHRIST JESUS. The LORD JESUS is truth. And HIS words are truth. GOD the FATHER has given us HIS SON, "For GOD sent not HIS SON into the world.." (John 3:17a). GOD the SON, JESUS CHRIST, the way, the truth, and the life eternal, has come into the world (at the behest of the FATHER).

DATE: December 2, 2020 (Wednesday) -- To GOD be all the glory in CHRIST JESUS. Those who believe the LORD JESUS, those who believe in JESUS, is not condemned, "He that believeth on HIM (the LORD JESUS) is not condemned:" (John 3:18a). The glorious grace of those that the LORD GOD has declared not condemned - no condemnation, and have eternal life, and more... (the glorious riches of GOD in CHRIST JESUS).

The status of the people in this world - condemnation.

DATE: December 5, 2020 (Satruday) -- To GOD be all the glory in CHRIST JESUS. John 3 -- I am now at the part of the SAVIOUR's life where HE reveals to a religious leader named Nicodemus the truth of how anyone can enter the kingdom of GOD, of HIS kingdom (eternity in heaven).

John 3 again -- as the LORD JESUS, GOD the SON starts HIS ministry from Cana, to Capernaum, then to Jerusalem (which was about 50-60 miles from Capernaum). Although the LORD JESUS was in Israel, and in Jerusalem in particular, but HE is GOD, and HIS view is the whole world. The LORD JESUS keeps mentioning "the world" in HIS discussion with Nicodemus - John 3:16-17, 19.

The LORD JESUS is now telling/revealing to Nicodemus this knowledge (from GOD's grace in CHRIST) of HIMSELF as the SON of GOD, even GOD HIMSELF! Nicodemus might (whether or not Nicodemus knows) not know or even realize that JESUS is really GOD, so the LORD JESUS keeps sharing to him the mind and heart of GOD - John 3:16-21. GOD the FATHER knows our helpless state (in sin), so HE now makes HIS promise of salvation manifest. GOD made good on HIS WORD. "And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil." (John 3:19). What is the condemnation? The condemnation is that the LORD JESUS, GOD the SON, has finally come into the world. The LORD JESU who is the LIGHT of the world, has come into to show the truth to the world. But we love darkness, because our deeds are evil. The Bible talks about our heart is evil, desperately evil.

And everyone who does evil, who sins, hates the light, John 3:20. Sin can not love GOD. Sin, evil, not only hates GOD; it also does not want GOD. That is our nature apart from GOD and HIS infinite grace in CHRIST JESUS. What's worse is we do not come to GOD. We run away from GOD, John 3:20.

DATE: December 7, 2020 (Monday) -- To GOD be all the glory in CHRIST JESUS. Well, yours truly is now at the other half of chapter 3, the gospel of John, where the LORD JESUS was talking with Nicodemus. And so the conversation ended with GOD's grace takiing the forefront, "But he that doeth the truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in GOD." (John 3:21). And here is a wonderful truth right from the LORD JESUS. That those who finds grace to do truth, will always come to the light.

"After these things..." (John 3:22). So, after these things (the purging of the temple, and conversation with Nicodemus), the LORD JESUS went to Judea. Judea is pretty large area. And it says that the LORD JESUS went there and stayed there with HIS followers, and that they were baptizing. So the disciples were preaching repentance there at Judea, and were baptizing as an outward sign of repentance.

DATE: December 9, 2020 (Wednesday) -- To GOD belong all the glory in CHRIST JESUS. So, yours truly is still at John 3, and witnesses the greatness of this man, John the Baptist. John's ministry was flourishing by the grace of the LORD GOD, then after the LORD JESUS started ministering, the people were going to the SAVIOUR more - John 3:25-26. "And they came unto John, and said unto him, Rabbi, HE that was with thee beyond Jordan, to whom thou barest witness, behold, the same baptizeth, and all men come to HIM." (John 3:26).

Like I always say, it is the LORD GOD choses/determines for what ministry. "John answered and said, A man can receive nothing, except it be given him from heaven." (John 3:27).

DATE: December 11, 2020 (Friday) -- To GOD be all the glory in CHRIST JESUS. The grace of the LORD GOD gives us the right perspective of life and of ourselves - that we are mere creatures. And hat the LORD JESUS is GOD! "Ye yourselves bear me witness, that I said, I am not the CHRIST, but that I am sent before HIM." (John 3:28). The focus is now turned to John the Baptist - his popularity is from the LORD GOD, as the LORD GOD have him make the announcement to introduce the LORD JESUS, John 3:29. "He that hath the bride is the bridegroom:" (John 3:29a).

DATE: December 13, 2020 (Saturday) -- To GOD be all the glory in all things in CHRIST JESUS. I heard it from the web site at my iPhone about John the Baptist (from R. C. Sproul) that John (by the grace of GOD's HOLY SPIRIT) realizes the glory of the LORD JESUS (as GOD the SON) in that he is not worthy to unloose the straps/latchet of the LORD JESUS's shoes/sandals - John 1:27. And that whoever believes in the LORD JESUS CHRIST certifies that GOD is true - "He that hath received HIS (the LORD JESUS) testimony hath set to HIS seal that GOD is true." (John 3:33). The LORD JESUS and those who believe in the LORD JESUS (by GOD' infinite grace) has "set to HIS seal" [Gk sphragizo = to stamp, to keep secret, to attest] that GOD is true.

"For HE (the LORD JESUS) whom GOD hath sent speaketh the WORDS of GOD; for GOD giveth not the SPIRIT by measure unto HIM." (John 3:34). GOD the FATHER has given to the LORD JESUS (GOD the SON) everything without measure. And here in the next part of the WORD of GOD is the reason for the immeasureably lavish giving of all things to the LORD JESUS, "The FATHER loveth the SON, and hath given all things into HIS hand." (John 3:35).

DATE: December 15,2020 (Tuesday) --To GOD be he glory in all things in CHRIST JESUS. Yours truly had to by-pass this date.

DATE: December 17, 2020 (Thursday) -- To GOD be all the glory in CHRIST JESUS. John 3:35-36, has John the Baptist testifying of the truth of those who believe in the LORD JESUS, and of those who do not. The eternal truth that those who, by the blessed grace of the LORD GOD, believes in the LORD JESUS has (is given/is appointed) everlasting life. All of us (human beings through out history) has an eternal soul. And GOD the FATHER is the only one who imparts eternal life (through the LORD JESUS) in the HOLY SPIRIT.

But the most damning truth for those who do not believe (in the LORD JESUS, GOD the SON) is the fact that they will NOT SEE life. And even worst, GOD's wrath still remains in them. NOTE: The wrath of GOD. The reason why the LORD JESUS came here on earth - is to save those recepients of the infinite and undeserved grace of GOD the FATHER in CHRIST JESUS from the wrath to come. The Bible says, "For the wrath of GODis revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;" (Romans 1:18). Wrath (Gk orge or-gay = [by implication] punishment, anger, indignation, vengeance).

DATE: December 19, 2020 (Sunday) -- To GOD be all the glory in all things in CHRIST JESUS. This part of the blessed SAVIOUR/CREATOR's life detailes for us of HIS encounter in Samaria. John the Baptist having been put in prison (Luke 3:19-20).

Now, the reason for John the Baptist being imprisoned is that John was speaking out/reproving Herod with regards to his unlawful affair with his brother's wife, Herodias, and for all the evil things that he was doing (Luke 3:19-20).

So, when the LORD JESUS left Judea when John was sent to prison, HE went to a place in Samaria called Sychar (John 4:5). And it was by the parcel of land that Jacob gave his Joseph, John 4:5. And Jacob's well was there. So, the LORD JESUS rested being tired from walking (about 30 or so miles from Judea). And the blessed LORD JESUS sat at the well, and it was 12noon. Then at that very moment, a woman of Samaria came to get water - John 4:5-7a. GOD's divine providence/sovereignty had the Samaritan woman go there at that very minute, and the LORD JESUS met her there at that very minute (John 4:7).

DATE: December 22, 2020 (Tuesday) -- To GOD be all the glory in CHRIST JESUS. The blessed LORD GOD (even the LORD JESUS CHRIST) sought out those of mixed descent, although HE was sent to the children of Abraham, maybe as a sign that the LORD is reaching out to the Gentiles soon after. I heard it said that the Samaritan woman went there at this time (12NOON) because she was spurned as an outcast, and the only time she can draw water was at noon time when it's fuming scorching hot. But that was when the LORD GOD JESUS sovereignly met her - to bring her salvation.

The blessed LORD JESUS started the meeting with a request, "Then cometh a woman of Samaria to draw: JESUS saith unto her, Give me to drink." (John 4:7). And by the LORD JESUS, even GOD the FATHER's divine providence, the disciples were away, so as not to be of any impediment - "(For HIS disciples were gone away unto the city to buy meat.)" (John 4:8).

DATE: December 23, 2020 (Wednesday) -- To GOD be all the glory in CHRIST JESUS. John 4 and here the LORD GOD JESUS seeks us out as in the case of the LORD's encounter with the Samaritan woman. It is GOD who initiates our salvation - "And JESUS saith unto her" (John 4:7b). And the LORD meets us at our point of need - "There cometh a woman of Samaria to draw water." (John 4:7a).

DATE: December 25, 2020 (Friday) -- To GOD be all the glory in all things in CHRIST JESUS. John 4:9 - Whatever the social stigma there are, the blessed LORD is over all of them.

DATE: December 26, 2020 (Saturday) -- To GOD be all the glory in CHRIST JESUS. The blessed SAVIOUR/CREATOR/GOD life here on earth as recorded by John through the HOLY SPIRIT, when HE went to Samaria, to the city called Sychar, was sovereignly seeking one lost soul (as was predestined by the FATHER).

Just a little history lesson on Samaria and Sychar - Samaria was the capital of the northern kingdom of Israel when the kingdom of Israel split into to nations. (And for further reading, you can go to Biblegateway - Samaria). Also, a good information to look into is the Biblegateway historical study on the Samaritans. It is very helpful in understanding the conversation that the Samaritan woman had with the SAVIOUR, the LORD JESUS. Biblegateway puts it this way, "The Samaritan theology of NT times (as nearly as can be traced from scanty records) seems to be similar to that of the Jews. (1) Both considered themselves to be true Yahweh worshipers. (2) Both placed the supreme emphasis on the Pentateuch not only as Scripture but as a detailed way of life. The Samaritans rejected the remainder of the Jewish canon; but, according to the records available, the Jews never specifically indicted them for this heresy. One might conjecture that the Samaritans did not include the other OT books in the canon because of the emphasis on the major importance of Jerusalem as a central sanctuary, and the relation of that city to the Messiah. The Samaritans, however, as did the Jews, looked for a Messiah, as is seen in the Samaritan woman's reference to Him (John 4:25)."

DATE: December 31, 2020 (Thursday) -- To GOD be all the glory in all things in CHRIST JESUS. It's Thursday, the last day of the month, and of the year (2020). And I am here at Banana King restaurant taking a short break, eating lunch. I am also using my tablet and the mini-keyboard (that is bluetooth-enabled) to log this day's event, at least, at this time - around 12NOON. But first things first, I want to thank the blessed LORD GOD for the many miracles, blessings, answer to prayers; and to give HIM all the glory in CHRIST JESUS.

By the grace of the LORD GOD, yours truly shared the gospel to Middle Eastern guy waiting at the bus stop where I was, and took the same bus. Then we continued to talk and I got to share as much of the gospel to him and to those in the bus with us.

Below is a video clip which I uploaded to this site. Yours truly (I) is/am trying it out for the first time. Also, I met Freddie again since several months ago. And wound up praying.

Now back to the regular Bible study on the LORD and SAVIOUR/CREATOR/KING JESUS, when HE was at the city called Sychar in Samaria. One thing I noticed was that the disciples were also at Samaria, and went to the city to get food - John 4:8.

Yours truly is now at the part where the SAVIOUR draws the elected Samaritan woman (that which was lost) to HIMSELF as the Living Water. From since the foundation of the world, ALMIGHTY FATHER in heaven (GOD), chose those whom HE brings to HIMSELF through HIS SON, the LORD JESUS - and GOD the FATHER sovereignly works all things to fulfill our election (to make it sure).
